G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S, yeah G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S
The glamorous,
The glamorous, glamorous (the glamorous life)
For the glamorous, oh the flossy flossy
Fergie said it best.
This fall mood brought upon all things high-fashion and insta-glam, including everything from NYFW, one of my all-time favorite models Lily Aldrige, some of this season’s trends (hello 80’s) and a collection of everything that tbh, looked expensive and elevated. With a few personal touches of my own, I pinned a photobooth picture from a recent wedding where I finally got to dress up! At the very top, I added this amazing sketch of my eyes that was done by an extremely talented sketch artist from a Lulu’s event I went to during summer.
It’s funny because when I think about it, my fall mood represents everything my inner 13-year-old hoped to experience working in the fashion industry. Instead, I just write about everything ultra-luxe, ultra-glam, ultra-chic, ultra-this, ultra-that and so on. * le sigh *
Not complaining though, I absolutely love being able to reach out to women by encouraging them to live their most luxurious life. Is it really such a bad thing to desire to be more glamorous these days?
I know from the outside, it’s incredibly easy for people to portray a worry free, always on vacay, brunchin’ hard every weekend type of lifestyle which makes you scroll through your feed and ask, “How does she do it??”
Glamour, by definition, doesn’t seem as far-fetched and superficial like it can be portrayed on Instagram. Instead, I think it maintains a sense of innocence. I believe at the root of it, it’s an alluring quality and certain magic about someone that peaks people’s interest - which ultimately anyone can achieve.
Smack dab in the middle of the mood board, I cut out a piece of text that reads, “Where has your glamour been?”
