A night out on the town wasn't what I expected to be like at Black Market.
This night club is popular among university students trying to catch a break from their studies (with spring break approaching!) and foreigners visiting from the states.
I'm not such a huge clubbing person back home besides the occasional lounges and bars so I don't know if it was the spirit of experiencing their idea of a night out and catching the local vibes that made me have so much (and much needed) energy for the night.
We came on hip hop night and #baddecisionwed, which popularized mixes from Kendrick Lamar, O.T Genasis, Big Sean and even some badass old school 90's hip hop favorites which wasn't overdone and kept the whole club entertained until 3AM or even later.
The DJ set up was super open with VIP tables close to the sides of the warehouse and up front and center with the DJ. On the big screen behind the DJ were twerking compilation videos, Napoleon Dynamite clips, and cat videos which describes this generation's affinity for letting loose and having a good time.
The night seriously never got old and having so much fun with my best friend we even chatted with a girl from New York, danced all night, and couldn't stop smiling about having a good time together.
