Playlist | When in Manila

Happy Friday!

While on my down time in Manila you best be knowin' that I'm watching some Filipino TV.

So it's normally not my thing back home to watch TFC or anything like that, I caught on to watch Asia/Philippines MTV (@MTVPinoy) programs like MTV's Halo-Halo meaning "mix mix," MTV's Push featuring new music videos, and MTV's the OPM Show showcasing the top artists and songs on the rise hosted by VJ's (yes, the Philippines still has them). 

Though, mostly all of today's popular music is international and they listen to Sam Smith with kleenex in hand just like anyone else, I discovered some new songs that I've grown to like and appreciate during my stay here.

Firstly, I discovered Sinyma, who has a badass female vocalist who just might be my new girl crush. Other artists include singer Jay R (who I just found out is from Glendale, CA),  a former contestant from The Voice Philippines Jessica Reynoso, some really cute couple with a corny video, and a popular song that I've been hearing lately.
